You can feel better now!

Going through the motions day-after-day has covered up the real you.  After all you have tried, you just can’t seem to figure it out.

You have spent a lot of time checking off the boxes that you thought would bring you happiness. Instead, you still feel like something important is missing. It is hard to define and just beyond your reach. The pace of life is unforgiving and it’s hard to pause and take a breath. You feel like you are being pulled in too many directions at once.

The turmoil in our current cultural/global landscape doesn’t help. The world feels like a time-bomb and it’s overwhelming. You wonder what will happen next.

With so much chaos and confusion in the world, it’s hard to stay focused and level-headed. You are looking for more balance, especially during life’s challenges.

Although you try to maintain appearances, you feel defeated, unbalanced, exhausted, and a sense of insecurity. You wonder why you don’t feel like you’re ever enough.

You thought your life would be different by now!

Instead of experiencing the best of who you are and sharing your gifts with the world, you spend a lot of time analyzing your mistakes. You focus on what isn’t working. You find it overwhelming to focus on the things you want and need to do. Your life goals seem blurred by uncertainty.

Instead of working through your pain, you get tied down with distractions that leave you even more unfulfilled.  You hide your true feelings because it is easier than making yourself vulnerable and risking rejection. You feel ashamed that you can’t seem to overcome past hurts.

You compare yourself to other people who seem happier.

Maybe you’ve been reading self-help books or blogs designed to help you accept yourself and be more “present.” Perhaps you’ve tried therapy before. Usually you are great at giving advice and solving problems, but it is harder to do this for yourself. You get a sense that you are always climbing uphill and that your life is one big question mark.

You are not alone. You can feel better now. It takes courage to take a chance, but you got this!
